I have a confession to make.  I don’t follow a regular skin care regime.  I consider myself very lucky, I inherited great genes.  My mom has always been mistaken as a sister when we’ve been out and about with her, and even now people guess my age to be 10 years younger than I actually am.

But I suspect that won’t last forever.  And since I’m in my 40’s, creeping up on the big Five-Oh, I’ve started to notice more prominent ‘laugh lines’ around my eyes, and since Little Dude joined our family over the summer (causing less restful sleep for me), dark circles have started to make their presence known.  Eeek.

So when I was asked if I’d like to take Cindy Crawford’s Meaningful Beauty, I was absolutely willing to be a guinea pig and see how it works.  Especially because while I’ll never get mistaken as Princess Nagger’s sister (since I had her so much later in life than my mom had us), but if I can thwart the possibility I’d be mistaken for her grandmother, I’m all over it.

I just started using the Meaningful beauty products, and I really like them.  The packaging is simple yet elegant, and the smell is actually quite pleasant.  I’m super sensitive to smell, so that was a big thing for me.  A little really does go a long way, so in spite of the containers being small, they will last the full month I’ll be using them.

Yes, I’ll be posting a follow up in a month to let you know how it turns out.  After just a few days, I’m already noticing a difference – if you ask nicely, I might even suck it up and post before and after photos.

Here’s more information about the 5-Step System:

With age, this neglect can show, especially on our skin. Whether 30 or 60 years old, we all deserve a little glow. Meaningful Beauty, the advanced anti-aging skincare system by Cindy Crawford and anti-aging specialist, Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh, can help us have just that.

Meaningful Beauty is a simple five-step treatment to help boost skin’s resilience and reduce the visible signs of aging so you can look and feel your best. Formulated to hydrate, firm and restore youthful skin, the Meaningful Beauty Crème de Serum combines the potency of a serum with the rich moisturizing effect of a cream. Featuring the Exclusive Microencapsulated Melon Complex and a unique peptide blend, the skin revitalizing formula is designed to target the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This, along with four other nourishing products in the Meaningful Beauty skin care system, work together to help skin look fresh, healthy and radiant.

How would you like to join me in guinea pig status?  I was given a second 5-Step System to give to someone meaningful in my life.  But since my sisters and mom and favorite aunt live so far away (and to decide which one of them to give it to would entail an elaborate game of Rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock) I thought it would be nice to offer it to one of you instead – that way no one can be jealous.  Except maybe them, because I’m going to look hot.

  1. I too am pretty lucky up until lately. My family skin is really good & my mom didn’t start showing her age until she was in her late 70’s I think. I’m not getting wrinkles per say, but I do have dark circles under the eyes, and if we’re only talking about the face my skin is oily in some places & dry in others & if I’m tired I see crows feet creepin’ in. Age spots I have a couple on my arms & legs.

  2. I don’t really have any current skin issues, but I am now 31, and have realized that I need to start a skincare routine now, and hopefully I can prevent or at least prolong wrinkles for a while. I’ve been watching the Meaningful Beauty infomercials for a long time now, and I really would LOVE to try it out! It just may be exactly what I need!
Thanks for the great review, and chance to win!
