Snow Bunny Or Not?

by Stacy (the Random Cool Chick) on February 15, 2012 · 49 comments

in Wordful Wednesday,Wordless Wednesday

The Groundhog saw his shadow on February 2nd, and a few days later we had this:

Though short-lived, it was a welcome sight.  Only an inch-and-a-half, and barely lasted a day before the sun came out and melted away the pretty white covering the winter drab gray.  Mother Nature has been stingy with snow this year, so I’ll take what I can get.

How about you – are you a snow bunny or anti-snow?

We got even less, not enough to play in. I like at least one snow day especially now that my little one is 4.

I wouldn’t mind a little snow but I don’t think that’s in the cards for Atlanta this year. We lucked out with snow on Christmas the last two years but it has been unseasonably warm here. Happy Wednesday!

Still wishing for snow here…! Love the pictures and even though it was shortlived, I’m sure it was a welcome site to see. Happy Wednesday:D

I am definitely not a snow bunny, but if it’s going to be cold, it ought to at least be pretty. We’ve had little snow this year, as well, but it’s still cloudy and dreary.

C’mon, Spring!

I am going to rant but you know I love you so it isn’t directed to you. I hate snow and am so tired of people complaining about the lack of snow. I complained last year as we got foot after foot of snow so I am happily enjoying the lack of it. Of course, our October storm that stole my electricity for 8 days did nothing to endear snow to me. I would be happy if it didn’t snow again. I can live with the gray.

For reals, someone ought to smack the hell out of that groundhog. I am definitely NOT a fan of the snow and the cold. I lived in Wyoming for two years and had literally all of the snow and cold I could take. Give me Spring….show me Summer!!!!

We had some of that too. While I don’t like the cold, I do think snow is pretty. I also like winter, because it helps control the bugs in Spring/Summer.

I am definitely no snow bunny, unless watching it fall from a warm cozy cabins counts. I don’t do snow. I’ll take flip-flips and sand any day.

We’ve had some cold snaps but nothing too bad. It’s supposed to be up near the 80s again. :-)

I grew up in Maine and HATE the snow. I’m so thankful that this winter has been sooo mild. Although I’m ready for flowers and consistent warm weather. DC winters don’t last too long. The only day of the year it would be nice to have a bit of snow is Christmas. After Christmas Santa can take it with him.

I leave in a tropical country so there’s no way I could experience snow. But I am not complaining…I don’t particularly like cold places. My 1st son was born in a city up the mountains….a very beautiful, clean city. I just didn’t like it when rains because the house we were renting becomes really cold and dump. I am so thankful when we decided to move to another city in the lowlands.
