The Groundhog saw his shadow on February 2nd, and a few days later we had this:
Though short-lived, it was a welcome sight. Only an inch-and-a-half, and barely lasted a day before the sun came out and melted away the pretty white covering the winter drab gray. Mother Nature has been stingy with snow this year, so I’ll take what I can get.
How about you – are you a snow bunny or anti-snow?

Ground Hog didn’t see his shadow by me thank the Lord. We’re really having a (shhhhhhhhhhhh) mild winter this year don’t you think? Well it’s late hope you had a nice Valentines Day! hugsssss
I am a very happy Snow Bunny 🙂 We’ve gotten so much snow here in Japan and that makes me happy!
Me? I think the snow is beautiful on the mountains and the trees…but not my driveway and not the streets and roads!! There I hate it. Ha!!
And we got tons of snow this year…ack!!
Hugs
SUeAnn
My snow came and went in a week! Perfect!
We got even less, not enough to play in. I like at least one snow day especially now that my little one is 4.
I wouldn’t mind a little snow but I don’t think that’s in the cards for Atlanta this year. We lucked out with snow on Christmas the last two years but it has been unseasonably warm here. Happy Wednesday!
Not a lot of snow here this year at all. So disappointing!
No snow in these parts – but we are getting a bunch of desperately needed rain!
Happy WW!

Still wishing for snow here…! Love the pictures and even though it was shortlived, I’m sure it was a welcome site to see. Happy Wednesday:D
My Caribbean blood cannot stand snow, but I like looking at other people’s pictures of snow 🙂
That pretty much sounds like our winter, too! Short and welcomed, but we’d rather see summer. haha 😉
Not sure, I’ve never seen the stuff!
we got some too…still not enough to go sledding though..
I am now your linky follower too.
Please, please send some our way!!
i live in a tropical country so we only have the dry and wet seasons. no snow at all. beautiful winter shots.
I love snow, but we don’t have hardly any here in NH! Just some ice.
I don’t mind the snow, I am just terrified to drive in it. If I can’t see the pavement, someone is driving for me lol
I am definitely not a snow bunny, but if it’s going to be cold, it ought to at least be pretty. We’ve had little snow this year, as well, but it’s still cloudy and dreary.
C’mon, Spring!
Well, this is one Ozark Farm Chick whose made no bone ’bout not bein’ a snow-bunny. I have to spent ’bout an hour outside ever blessed day doin’ chores come rain, snow or ice. I’m anti all the way baby!!!
Great pics…and I have to admit it’s pretty to gaze out at if ya can stay by the fire doin’ it. We got six inches here….Booger….ya want it???
God bless ya from the wintery hills and hollers of the Missouri Ponderosa!!!
Have a great day, ya hear???
I love the snow but not for long 🙂 lovely photo’s 🙂
love pictures with a light dusting of snow… so beautiful
I think the groundhog….well fibs!
No snow bunny here either. Sunshine please!
I am going to rant but you know I love you so it isn’t directed to you. I hate snow and am so tired of people complaining about the lack of snow. I complained last year as we got foot after foot of snow so I am happily enjoying the lack of it. Of course, our October storm that stole my electricity for 8 days did nothing to endear snow to me. I would be happy if it didn’t snow again. I can live with the gray.

The Groundhog brought you winter!!
Stacy my link is correct but for some reason it grabbed the wrong title, oh well!
For reals, someone ought to smack the hell out of that groundhog. I am definitely NOT a fan of the snow and the cold. I lived in Wyoming for two years and had literally all of the snow and cold I could take. Give me Spring….show me Summer!!!!
We had some of that too. While I don’t like the cold, I do think snow is pretty. I also like winter, because it helps control the bugs in Spring/Summer.
I am definitely no snow bunny, unless watching it fall from a warm cozy cabins counts. I don’t do snow. I’ll take flip-flips and sand any day.
We’ve had some cold snaps but nothing too bad. It’s supposed to be up near the 80s again. 🙂
We haven’t had much snow here either. A day of it infact, that’s it.
Great pictures, happy WW 🙂

i’m to cold blooded for snow
Mother Nature HAS been stingy. I figure if it has to be winter then it should snow. Our snow has been pitiful this year too.
We rarely ever see snow down here.. but it sleeted like crazy all night Monday.
We don’t get snow here in Northern California unless it’s a really freakish winter. I would love a little snow to play in. But I’m weird like that!
I love snow, but here in Wales we haven’t had any that has settled this Winter and I’m desperate to take my two year old out in it.
I’m a snow bunny! I think I’d really miss winter if there was no snow.
These are really beautiful shots.
I’m not a snow lover, but I live in Nebraska. We get it here!
I think snow is beautiful, but then, never lived in it. We’ve had a super mild winter here in Vegas too. I think I like the IDEA of snow, but probably wouldn’t want it all the time!
—I have seen enough snow in my days being from Minnesota.
I am anti-snow & pro-sun, babe. Xx
I grew up in Maine and HATE the snow. I’m so thankful that this winter has been sooo mild. Although I’m ready for flowers and consistent warm weather. DC winters don’t last too long. The only day of the year it would be nice to have a bit of snow is Christmas. After Christmas Santa can take it with him.
I think I like the idea of snow – sitting by the fireplace with my laptop while it snows outside. 🙂
I’m totally anti snow!! lol that’s why I love Texas 🙂 Though I do want my son to experience snow. Just once 😀
I like snow, but not too much. No one in GA knows how to deal with snow and it becomes such a mess!!
I like snow- but that might be because I haven’t seen it in over 4 years.
No snow here, but we have had precipitation, which is always welcome. 🙂
Oh how I wish we had some snow! We moved from Germany to Texas 3 years ago and I’m afraid my kids will never get a proper snow day
Well I am Canadian so that means I was born with snow in my heart…guess I have to love it.
No I do really love the snow…just to look at 🙂
I leave in a tropical country so there’s no way I could experience snow. But I am not complaining…I don’t particularly like cold places. My 1st son was born in a city up the mountains….a very beautiful, clean city. I just didn’t like it when rains because the house we were renting becomes really cold and dump. I am so thankful when we decided to move to another city in the lowlands.
