Happy Hanukkah and Where Are You Christmas Oh Holy Night? My Grown Up Christmas Wish is to Jingle Bell Rock!

Here we are, the final week before Christmas.  We’ll all be making that mad dash for last-minute shopping, wrapping, organizing.  And by we I mean me.  How is it that each year Christmas seems to arrive much faster?  I still have plenty of last-minute stuff to take care of, along with getting things packed and ready for our road trip on Friday.  Yes, I’m crazy, why do you ask?

At least today we can get started right on the last stretch to the finish line with some awesome Christmas tuneage, thanks to Monday’s Music Moves Me.  And since many of my friends will be celebrating Hanukkah starting at sunset tomorrow, let’s start this party off with ’s hilarious “Hanukkah Song”:

Next up is ’s beautiful ”:

Next up is one of my favorite former Champions, with a beautiful version of ”:

One of my favorite songs this time sung by Lauren Alaina ” (ignore the person who posted it as Growing Up…it’s Grown Up):

  1. I listen to every one of those. I know they made me feel better, but just enough time for one Post tonight, and I chose yours. I knew it would put me in a better mood. I’ll be back home tomorrow afternoon after the funeral. Hold down the fort for me and I’m sure you’ll pull in over 100 people for our linky right??? Yeah…. well I can dream can’t I!!! Santa bring me more followers for our linky is on my Christmas List! HO HO HO Thanks Stacy for helping me in my hour of need. The Wake was very uncool, but I’m glad that part of it’s over. Goodnight friend.

  2. Merry Christmas, Stacy! I hope you, the hubs, PN, & Little Dude have a joyous, blessed Christmas celebration. I like all of your country Christmas picks. Okay, Adam Sandler isn’t country. How do you describe his musical talents? lol It was good to see Laura Alaina’s clip. I was always so fond of her while she was on AI last season. She’s very talented. Have an awesome week and be safe traveling!

  3. I am trying to avoid the last-minute mad dash by going on my lunch breaks to get the last few things. We’ll see how that goes! Good song choices today.

  4. Sometimes a little crazy time is a good time. I wish I felt something. I keep having to push myself to be going at it for my children.

I hope you’ll have a safe travel and wonderful family time!
