Princess Nagger is a picky eater.  No matter how hard I try, no way does she get all the proper nutrients she should be getting on a daily basis.  She does take a daily vitamin – though some days (mostly on the weekends) I forget to give them to her.  But look at what Emergenc-C has come up with:

New Emergen-C Kidz, now specially formulated just for kids, provides key vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and antioxidants, which can play a vital role in metabolism and energy, and help support their active lifestyles.*  Some days Princess Nagger will be so distracted by shiny objects (or making her latest and greatest origami creation) that she’ll leave her breakfast sitting untouched before racing out the door to the bus.  I’ve now started packing a packet of the new Emergen-C Kidz in her backpack so she can add it to her bottled water when they have a snack, or at lunchtime.

Even the Little Dude loves these – all three flavors.  He loves that it fizzes, and thinks he’s drinking soda which he never gets to do.  He gets disappointed when I won’t give him these to drink all day, but savors the times he does get to enjoy them.

Emergen-C comes in three naturally delicious, kid-tested flavors – Fruit Punch, Orange (Little Dude’s absolute favorite), and Grape (Princess Nagger’s favorite).  We parents can feel good about giving it to our kids.  Not only does it taste good (and yes, I tried them because that’s how I roll) but they’re good for them, too.

What’s really cool is you can help Emergen-C Kidz give back – for every box sold, Emergen-C will donate 25-cents to Vitamin Angels to provide essential nutrients to one child for one year, helping reduce childhood mortality worldwide.  Isn’t that cool?   In addition to that, parents can take the My Emergen-C Kidz Pledge at Facebook.com/EmergenC to commit to a fun and healthy lifestyle for their family. For every Pledge, Emergen-C will donate an additional 25-cents. Pretty cool, no?

What tricks do you do to make sure your kids (or you) are getting all the right nutrients?
