Reflection: Wordless/Wordful Wednesday

in Wordful Wednesday,Wordless Wednesday

Since our genius carpenter friend had to work all weekend, we didn’t get a lot done on our Summer House renovation, so that means no updates this week on that project.  I did, however, save these cool shots I took during the early stages and forgot to share them.  Now is good:

Next week I’ll have more updates, I promise.  Have a great week!

Edited to add: Don’t forget to join me on Twitter today at 1pm EST for a Talk with TheMotherhood and Dr. Oetker Pizza Ristorante all about Valentine’s Day how we spend quality time with people we care about (romantically and otherwise) to maintain good relationships.  I’m looking forward to getting some great ideas!

You’ll also have a chance to win one of four prize packs that Dr. Oetker will be giving away during the Talk.  Each contain a cooler bag, pizza cutter, apron and Dr. Oetker coupons.  Sounds like a great prize pack for all us pizza lovers!   The hashtag is #DrOetkerRistorante.   Hope to see you there!

What great pics! You must be getting impatient to get your summer house done. I bet it will be beautiful when it’s finished.

A perpetual light of a man’s vision. I don’t think he sees what we’re seeing. A man and his dreams are a sight to behold. Now I really can’t wait to see the finished product!

I love the light shining in– so gorgeous and almost prophetic in a way– good things are coming with the remodeling!!

25 Lorne February 9, 2011 at 4:56 pm

Wonderful shots! I couldn’t choose which one I like more – the gentle light or the man in the picture. Whichever way it is, when combined, here it comes – a perfect picture!

Is that your attic? or the office space you were talking about before?

Cant’ wait to see the finish!

Not only the sunlight streaming in through the opening…but the genius is hard at work contemplating his next move. I love these photos….it’s like the old adage, “A picture paints a 1000 words”.

PS…thanks so much for the birthday wishes and your visiting with me yesterday!!!

32 Casey February 10, 2011 at 1:17 pm

Oh yay, before/after shots! I took a bunch of after shots to post today but then can’t find the before shots. I think they got deleted somehow in the switch to my new laptop. I’ll keep looking.
