Fun at the Farm – Wordless/Wordful Wednesday

in Princess Nagger,Wordful Wednesday,Wordless Wednesday

Yesterday in my Random Tuesday Thoughts post I posted some pictures of our adventure at the Corn Festival on Sunday, and since I finally returned to my ‘normal’ shutter-bug mode now that my cold is finally on the way out, I took a lot of pictures.  I thought I’d let you enjoy the fun – maybe it’ll seem like you were there, too!

The weather cooperated for the 2nd Annual Corn Festival at Crumland Farm in Maryland:

One of the first things Princess Nagger wanted to do was jump in the bouncy house (of course!):

There were hay bales to climb up and through:

Hay bales to run around on and jump into a big bed of hay:

Tractors to climb up on and slide out of:

Rubber Ducky Races to participate in (even though Princess Nagger was the only participant, so me and Dada ‘let’ her win):

Maizy the Mascot to take pictures with:

8-acre Corn Maze to wander aimlessly through:

A Moo-Choo Train to ride on (though it didn’t seem to have anyone operating it that day, Princess Nagger definitely wants to ride it next time):

Good music to listen to:

Julienne Irwin (America's Got Talent Runner Up)

And slides to slide on:

The persistent smile and involuntary giggles and laughs made the day perfect.

.

I love the intense blue of your girl’s shirt against the corn field, and the paler blue sky. Such a horizon of possibility.
