Pound Sign Question Mark Star Exclamation Point (#?*!)

Life has a way of throwing curve balls.  You try to dodge them as best you can, but sometimes they hit their target.  Hard. I’ve been tagged with a few that I now need to juggle, so I’ll be taking a bit of a bloggy break to deal with them.  Meanwhile, one of my latest favorite songs says it all:

Form Object

If you are unable to listen to the song (although I highly recommend it) here are the words:

Kevin Fowler – Pound Sign (#?*!)

Dog-tired
Yeah, I’m wired
Uptight-er than an a-string
About to break

Tail-draggin’
A little ragged
Hangin’ by a thread
That’s startin’ to fray

Just in case there might be
Little ears around
I won’t say it
I’ll just spell it out

I feel like pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point
Don’t give a blank
And a whole lot of other

Choice words I can’t say
Today I feel like
Pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point

Hung-over
A lot closer
To ringin’ death’s door
Than I was yesterday

Head-achin’
Hand-shakin’
Badly in need
Of a shower and shave

Yeah, I know I’m lookin’
A little rough
The least I can do
Is clean my language up

I feel like pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point
Don’t give a blank
And a whole lot of other

Choice words I can’t say
Today I feel like
Pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point

I think I partied
A little too hard last night
Let’s see here now
How do I put this right?

I feel like pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point
Don’t give a blank
And a whole lot of other

Choice words I can’t say
Today I feel like
Pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point

Don’t give a blank
And a whole lot of other
Choice words I can’t say
Today I feel like

Pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point
Percentage sign, at symbol
Back-slash, squiggle-thing

Pound-sign, question mark
Star, exclamation point.

Too bad partying too hard or a hangover isn’t the issue.  Here’s hoping I can extricate some of those stressful curve balls and get back to a ‘normal’ mode soon.  I might be flitting about the blogosphere every so often, but chances are I won’t be back to posting for at least a couple of weeks.  Here’s hoping it’s sooner than that.

About Stacy (the Random Cool Chick)

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance and I chose to become a SAHM and WAHM - I love every minute of it. We added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension to our family. We have an eclectic mix of pets: dogs, cats, birds and fish. I love to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, I take on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. My favorite, of course, is making my own wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway. I blog about the joys of parenting, family, friends, life, love and anything else that strikes my fancy. I do enjoy doing reviews and giveaways for products I use, believe in and can stand behind.
