Me: “Nickel for your thoughts.”
PN: “A nickel?”
Me: “Yeah, it used to be a penny, but inflation changed it to a nickel.”
PN: “Oh, OK, well I’m thinking about dinosaurs of course!”
Me: “I should have figured.”
PN: “You owe me a nickel.”
Me: “No problem, I think I actually have a nickel in my purse.”
PN: “Next time you want to know my thoughts, it will cost you a dime. And the time after that, a quarter.”
Me: “Why?”
PN: “Inflation, you know.”
Our traveling plans were delayed a day, so as of 7-ish (or 8-ish…definitely by 9-ish) a.m. this morning we’ll be on the road heading towards Iowa. Once we get to our halfway point in Ohio to stop for the night, I might be able to put a post together for tomorrow highlighting some of the first day road trip fun. Traveling with 2 dogs and a Nagger always results in some hilarity. Or at least makes it not so boring.
Meanwhile I’ll probably be sending off Tweets (@RandomCoolChick) while we’re on the way – when I’m not the driver, of course. I never Tweet and drive. But it does help distract me from being a passenger when the hubby tends to be a crazy-ish driver. Ish. Since I have a Dumb Phone (as opposed to a Smart Phone) I’ll have to wait until I can get online to reply to any snarky responses to my snarky tweets. One of these days I’ll join the Smart Phone Revolution so I can be relevant in this century. Hopefully before next century.

Did you know that you can tweet via text AND receive tweets via text? All you have to do is send a text like this: ON Mrs4444
and you will receive replies to your tweets from whomever you like. To stop it, text Off Mrs4444. You can also Folllow Mrs4444 (for example) or anyone else you like!
