we were pretty much on the same wavelength with this spin cycle. I agree with you 100%. I too had to practice using my intuition more and trusting my gut. It hasn’t been easy–I am the type who at times trusts everyone but myself, even when I am really the expert on a particular topic. I’m working on it, though.

Oooooh, yes. I’ve had more of those slow motion “nooooooooo” moments more often than I like. And almost always after the realization of “What she’s doing is not a good idea because she could…oh crap!”

I’m with you – it’s bunk and hooey. But I believe strongly in Mother’s Intuition, too. Mostly because I’ve got it and learned a looooong time ago to trust it.

It’s amazing the super powers you gain with small children. A helicopter could land on my roof in the middle of the night and I wouldn’t hear it, but if one of the boys starts crying I’m in their room before I even realize I’m there. I once leapt down fifteen stairs over top of my falling second born to stop him from falling any further.
