Me: “It’s around here somewhere…”
PN: “How much did that mini mouse cost you?”
Me: “I don’t remember…maybe 15 bucks.”
PN: “I’ll give you 10.”
Me: Laughing hysterically – particularly at the fact there was no hesitation on her part…but I think the laughing threw her off track…
PN: “How much money do you have, anyway?”
Me: “Why do you want to know?”
PN: “So I can give you the right amount.”
Me: “What does the amount I have have to do with…”
PN: “If you have 5, I have to give you 10.”
Me: “What if I have none?”
PN: “Then I’ll have to give you 15.”
Me: “You’re not really clear on what ‘negotiation’ is, are you?”
PN: “No.”
Me: “We’ll work on that.”
