and

Together!

Once again I decided to combine Wordless and Wordful Wednesday into one post…you know, to save time and energy. And because I’m rarely wordless. 😉

Mixing up the cookie dough…

(Are you about done taking pictures, Mama?)

Yes, she’s wearing her favorite Sponge Bob jammies standing on her favorite purple chair…

Looking forward to eating that cookie dough…

Time to cut out the clovers:

The last remnant of dough…
Should I roll it…
Or eat it?
In the above picture, she looks like she could be Yaya’s daughter…must be the cut of the bangs and the big blue eyes… 😉

Yeah, I think I’ll eat it…good choice! Or was it? 😉

All ready to go…Princess Nagger insisted we make some heart shaped ones since we didn’t make any for Valentine’s Day… 😉

Of course the Princess Nagger ended up staying home Monday because she was milking her bout with an upset stomach the night before…that, and the naked cookies needed frosting…we planned on doing that when she came home from school Monday so they’d be ‘fresh’ for Tuesday. I think she wanted to stay home to finish the cookies…not ‘finish’ as in ‘finish them off’, but ‘finish’ as in frost them… and eat frosting, of course! She was disappointed, though – I think she was thinking she’d be able to go to town on the left over frosting…she was a bit miffed that I threw it out while she was taking her bath. No need to give her another upset stomach…or have her bouncing off the walls from an extreme sugar high! 😉

  4. What cute pictures – she’s really into it.

Did you really throw away the icing, or did you “throw it away” *wink-wink* and scarf it down in ten flat? Come on, be honest. 😉

  12. Thanks Justine! 🙂 She is too cute for words…and sometimes I think she knows it! LOL! Well, I sorta cheated – not completely from scratch…I did cheat and use a Krusteaz mix where you just add water before you roll and cut… 😉 I almost picked up some Pillsbury in the can, but for some reason couldn’t bring myself to doing that – I knew that PN wanted to do the whole rolling and cutting thing…so I compromised… 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

  13. I almost got the ‘pre-made, throw them on the cookie sheet and bake variety’, too – but I knew if I did, Princess Nagger would nag me to death about wanting to cut them out herself…so I figured I’d save myself the nagging… 😉 (grin!) Thanks so much for stopping by, Petra! 🙂

  17. That’s too funny that your daughter has the same SB pants – I guess that means I’ll be getting them in a larger size as the PN grows…(grin!!) Brownies are a great idea! I did get the recipe from my mom of the ones we used to make with her when we were kids – I’ll have to ‘introduce’ that to the PN soon… 😉 Thanks a bunch for stopping by, Harriet! 🙂

  21. Thanks, Ric – she did pretty good with not getting the mix everywhere (probably because I was right there), but made a HUGE mess with the flour after I left her to her own devices to ‘practice’ rolling out that last bit of dough…heh, heh! I did have quite the mess to clean up afterward! 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

  23. Awww, thanks Saundra! She’ll be so happy to hear they look like store bought! She’s definitely feeling better – enough to polish off 4 more cookies when I wasn’t looking…but at least she did finish ALL of her dinner, which is usually a major feat, so I couldn’t be mad at her…(grin!!) Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

  24. LOL Peggy! I would be happy to FedEx the cookie dough bowl for you to lick the bowl…but alas, the Princess Nagger beat you to it! 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

  25. LOL Trina! Nope, probably no connection between the cookie dough and tummy ache…(grin!!) I actually do think it was a combination of some other stuff she ate…then added massive amounts of cookie dough on top of it all…(grin!!) So glad you found your way over here via Nikki’s blog and SITS – you’re certainly welcome to ‘crash’ here anytime! 😉
