This week I decided to combine Wordless and Wordful Wednesday into one post…you’ll see why in a minute, based on the pictures below. You see, the Princess Nagger was busy drawing – and when I went into the living room, she had these three drawings taped strategically in different spots…I never did find out what prompted her to draw them, but it’s possibly because her friend from school that had brain surgery recently is constantly on her mind…she keeps asking when she’ll be back, but I haven’t gotten any updates (aside from the fact that the surgery went very well). So…um…enjoy! ๐
I think this was her first attempt…the ‘person’ looks a bit agitated, don’t you think? ๐
This ‘person’ doesn’t look all that happy having their brain pointed out – see the arrow pointing specifically to the brain?
And apparently, this is the ‘close up’ of ‘The Brain’…
And apparently, this is the ‘close up’ of ‘The Brain’…
PN: “I had just enough tape to hang them up, Mama! You might want to get some more so I can hang more drawings up. Tonight I decided to investigate the brain.”
So there ya go…little bit of Wordless, little bit of Wordful… I was pretty much rendered speechless… ๐

Thanks, Maria! I agree – I’m thrilled that she can express herself through drawings…she’ll even draw ‘mad’ drawings when she’s mad at me…heh, heh! ๐ But it gets her point across! ๐ Happy WW! ๐

I’d ditch this “kit” thing Stacy. I just got your comment response, but for the second time, when I tried to reply to it, it got bounced back to me with an error message! Waaaaaaaa

Thanks, Tammy! You’re right – it’s absolutely a good ‘teachable moment’. That’s a GREAT idea, Haley! I will definitely have to look into that book – the Princess Nagger has been thoroughly reading the LeapFrog ‘Science – The Human Body’ – it shows all the ‘insides’ of the human body, but a brain specific one might work even better! ๐ thanks for the suggestion! ๐ And thanks so much for stopping by! ๐

Sorry to hear that you are still having comment troubles. What is with Blogger anyways? I seriously think you just need to dump him completely and move on. You have way too great widgets and ideas for Blogger. Time to move to the internet, girl!
Oh, and that Princess Nagger is something else. One smart cookie, that is for sure. You are going to have your hands full before you know it. ๐

Sorry if you get a double response to your comment, Alicia – the first one is missing! >:o
LOVE the "Mount Tessna"…LOL! ๐ Princess Nagger has been avidly reading the LeapFrog 'Science – The Human Body' booklet thingy – it shows all the insides of the human body…she got it as a 'hand-me-down' from my sister when her boys outgrew it, and even though it's for 7-10 year olds, I've never wanted to inhibit her learning curve, so she's been reading it for the past couple of years…heh, heh! She knows more about our insides than I do! LOL!
Thanks so much for stopping by! ๐

UGH! I'm sorry it's causing you problems, Justine! I'm worried about converting back – and losing even MORE comments…>sigh!< Sometimes the errors are caused by Blogger, too – especially if trying to leave a comment at the same time someone else is…so I might have messed you up since I've been madly replying to all the comments at the same time… ๐

I think you’re right, Francesca – I own my own domain name and have webspace up the wazoo…so I really should move on from Blogger…I’m just nervous about the whole transition thing, but I think I’m seriously going to look into it! Anything to have less mess and less headaches… ๐
I am going to have my hands full with the Princess Nagger, aren’t I? I always say that she’s way too smart for OUR own good…LOL!! Thanks a bunch for stopping by! ๐

I think maybe Princess Nagger is going to grow up to be a neurosurgeon and her “The Brain” series of drawings will be the subject of great academic study.
