It has been a mad crazy few weeks to be sure. Hovering Hubby’s schedule has been fluctuating more than the tides fluctuate with the moon phases. Princess Nagger has had a few sick days here and there, and I’ve had to fight off a sinus infection. Through it all I’ve managed to post on my blog daily, and even reply to each and every comment.

But.

I’m swimming upstream and losing ground. I have fallen so far behind in my blog-hopping and commenting, I’m afraid my favorites are going to feel like I don’t love them anymore. I miss reading the wit and fancy that my favorite bloggers write, and it’s making me cranky. I don’t like to be cranky. Hubby doesn’t like me to be cranky. Princess Nagger especially doesn’t like me to be cranky. I don’t like to slow my computer down by having 50 tabs open at once, trying to juggle between them and catch up.

So? What do I do?

Well, something’s gotta give…but have no fear, it’s not going to be my random daily blog posts…nosirree, I wouldn’t abandon you that way. It’s also not going to be my favorite blogs that I so enjoy reading and commenting on…not gonna happen. The ‘give’ is going to have to be in the ‘studiously replying to comments’ mode. Does that mean I don’t like comments? Absolutely not! I love comments – I love reading and laughing and getting goose bumps from all the wonderfully sweet and witty and hilarious comments everyone leaves…I look forward each and every day to reading the comments that are left – those are the supreme highlight of my day. Really and truly!

But what I’m running into is that it’s so time consuming to reply to each and every one of your wonderfully thoughtful comments – I spend so much time doing that, that I don’t have time to read your blogs and comment on your blogs. I haven’t had time to do my regular EntreCard dropping, because I run out of time every single day. I have had to neglect some of the fun posts I want/like to do – because I run out of time from the craziness of the week. My comments to others have been sporadic at best, a sudden surge of commenting on every post between the last one I read and the current one. I don’t like being left behind in all the fun…I want to be in the middle of it! 😉

So bear with me as I resist the urge to reply to the wonderful comments left to me – and instead, please make sure you leave a link to your blog so I can hop over there and leave a witty comment there instead of as a reply on my own blog. That way it’s a win-win…that makes sense, doesn’t it? 🙂 Oh, and if you leave a specific question in your comment, I will definitely reply to it so you get your answer…either directly to your reply or on a comment at your blog… 😉

Rest assured I do and will read all the comments – and appreciate each and every one…so keep commenting away, ‘cuz you all give me the warm fuzzies… 😉

  1. oh i’d MUCH rather you left me a commnet on my blog… my email keeps sending your comment replies to my spam box and i think i’ve lost more than a few! 😎

  2. I know how you feel about replying to everything. Shoot! Who am I kidding? I barely have time to leave comments, much less replies. It’s hard trying to find time to even post in my world. That’s what working 12 hours a day will do for your blogging, I suppose!

  3. You KNOW I know exactly what you’re feeling here. Man, oh man, do I understand. I made that very decision. I almost always take the option of visiting the blog and commenting instead. Even with not having kids at home, I still can not keep up with both. But like you, I read every single one of them and LOVE them so much!

  4. Heh, couldn’t have written it better myself. I’ve had to let my comment replies fall behind in order to keep up with my reader and my life. It sucks, but life is more important than blogging. I don’t expect a reply when I leave comments so don’t worry about me!
