Quotable Sunday

Toni, from A Daily Dose of Toni has this great weekly ritual of posting Favorite Quotes – the quotes that people come up with are very inspiring, so if you haven’t had a chance to check out Quotable Sunday, now’s your chance! ๐Ÿ˜‰ This week I have chosen quotes about ‘Patience’ – this past week has been a test on my patience level, so I thought them quite appropriate:

“He that can have patience can have what he will.” Benjamin Franklin

“If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow.”
Chinese Proverb

“All things come to him who waits – provided he knows what he is waiting for.”
Woodrow T. Wilson

“Only those who have the patience to do simple things perfectly will acquire the skill to do difficult things easily.”
Johann Friedrich von Schiller

“Patience and fortitude conquer all things.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Have patience with all things, but first of all with yourself.”
St. Francis de Sales

“Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.”
John Quincy Adams

“Trying to understand is like straining through muddy water. Be still and allow the mud to settle.”
Lao Tzu

“Genius is eternal patience.”
Michelangelo

“Patience and tenacity of purpose are worth more than twice their weight of cleverness.”
Thomas Henry Huxley

“Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therin to be content.”
Helen Keller

About Stacy (the Random Cool Chick)

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance and I chose to become a SAHM and WAHM - I love every minute of it. We added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension to our family. We have an eclectic mix of pets: dogs, cats, birds and fish. I love to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, I take on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. My favorite, of course, is making my own wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway. I blog about the joys of parenting, family, friends, life, love and anything else that strikes my fancy. I do enjoy doing reviews and giveaways for products I use, believe in and can stand behind.
