It’s Monday! You know what that means, don’t you? Time for the Not Me Monday Carnival! After you’re done reading what I absolutely did not do, head on over to MckMamma’s, she’s guaranteed to make you laugh – or at least feel better about your week. This is too much fun not to participate in! πŸ˜‰

I did not get thrown off by Daylight Savings Time this weekend which did not throw my whole schedule off yesterday.

I did not get excited when hubby offered to order Papa John’s Pizza for dinner Friday night and I did not order a Spinach Alfredo because I do not realize that Princess Nagger does not hate spinach.

I did not then tell the Princess Nagger that the ‘green stuff’ on her pizza was just Basil, because I would not try to fool her like that to eat healthier…nope, not me!

I did not grin like a Cheshire Cat when Princess Nagger did not eat her whole slice of pizza since she did not NOT figure out it was really spinach.

I did not let her eat the entire apple sweet treat afterward since she was not so great about finishing off her whole ginormous slice of spinach pizza…nope, not me!

Now you know a few of my little things that I did not do. Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you did not do either. πŸ˜‰

  2. Happy Monday Stacy πŸ™‚
There are some amazing Chicago deep dish spinach pizzas out there…fyi πŸ˜€

  3. We ordered from the Papa on Friday too but we went with ham and pineapple. I didn’t know they had spinach alfredo, I’m going to try that next time. I mean, there won’t be a next time since I’m on the HASAY wagon and that sort of food is not appropriate. Ha.

  4. LOL Mimi! I get confused writing them sometimes, too! πŸ™‚ I hate the time change…I’m running SO late this morning because of it! Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  5. Thanks, Harriet! Mmmmmm…Chicago deep dish…I might have to hunt some down! πŸ˜‰ Have a great Monday! πŸ™‚

  6. I usually get the ham and pineapple one, too – thought I’d do something a little different…you know, to trick my mind into thinking it was ‘healthier’…(snicker!) But I was happy that I only scarfed 2 slices instead of more like I usually do…and letting the Princess Nagger eat all of the apple sweet treats prevented me from imbibing on that…(grin!!) Of course that means I’ll have to be SURE I tackle my WiiFit this week… πŸ˜‰

  7. Awesome, I love it when we can trick our kids into eating green stuff!

  8. I knwo what you mean about the spinach! My 5 year old son will eat anything you put in front of him…including spinach! My 3 year old daughter will not eat anything green unless it is a Skittle or M & M! I've had to trick her a few times as well. πŸ˜€

  9. I LOVE Papa Johns and Hubby always wants Pizza Hut instead…..but..thats ok..I like pizza hut too! πŸ™‚

  10. Their spinach pizza is really good. My kids like it too, the trick is getting them to bite in to that first slice. Daylight savings is EVIL. >:o

  11. I was dragging my butt all day Sunday as well. Your pizza night sounds wonderful, and I laughed because I do the the same thing all the time with the kids. Have a wonderful night!

  12. Hey! Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you had a good Monday πŸ™‚ I am sorry DST messed you up, I am a little OCD about it so I always HAVE to change the clocks the night before πŸ˜‰ I love how you pulled the spinach “basil” trick, I will have to remember that!

  13. It is great, isn’t it? Usually the Princess Nagger figures it out, but for some reason she bought it this time…probably because I even got actual Basil out for her to taste so she’d realize it’s not ‘spicy’! πŸ˜‰ Thanks for stopping by, Petra! πŸ™‚

  14. LOL! It actually did work…but only because I had her taste actual Basil…as long as it’s not ‘spicy’ she’s fine with it…hubby loves all things spicy, so he usually adds lots of hot stuff to whatever he’s eating, and she declines his offer to spice up her food every time… πŸ˜‰ Thanks for stopping by, carma! πŸ™‚

  15. That's too funny your daughter's 'green' likes are skittles and M&M's! That's usually the Princess Nagger's thing, too – she used to eat broccoli, but when she saw a cartoon that made fun of it (look like little trees), she decided she didn't like it anymore… She loves all kinds of fruits, but for some reason is anti-vegetables. Except corn. Especially corn on the cob – she'd eat that all day if she could! πŸ™‚ Thanks so much for stopping by, Staci! πŸ™‚

  16. Papa Johns definitely has yummy pizza! We haven’t had Pizza Hut in forever – but only because we don’t have one near us… πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much for stopping by, Dee! πŸ™‚

  17. LOL! Mmmmmm…birthday cake… Love that your MIL and you did NOT eat almost half of it…great bonding moments! πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  18. I like spinach on lots of things – for some reason hubby has an aversion to it, too – he ordered a calzone for himself that night (something ultra spicy, of course!) But sometimes I’ll make stuffed chicken breasts and put spinach in them…and just not say anything…funny how it doesn’t bother him to eat it when he doesn’t realize he’s actually eating it! (grin!!) Thanks so much for stopping by, Elizabeth! πŸ˜‰

  19. Thank you very much, Maurica, I checked out the details and I’ll be doing the star post shortly… πŸ˜‰ Thanks for stopping by and letting me know! πŸ™‚

  20. Their spinach pizza is really good – it did take a little bit of coaxing before the Princess Nagger would bite into it, but once she did, she seemed to thoroughly enjoy it… πŸ˜‰ Daylight savings IS Evil! πŸ™‚ Thanks so much for stopping by, Mrs. Bear! πŸ™‚

  21. LOL! If she had her way, Princess Nagger would only eat cheese, too…sometimes she sneaks it out of the fridge when I’m not looking…little stinker! πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much for stopping by, Lydia! πŸ™‚

  22. Absolutely love it – especially when they really do end up liking it…but only if you keep it a secret what they’re eating… πŸ˜‰ thanks so much for stopping by, Alicia! πŸ™‚

  23. It seems to be a common thing amongst kids – you have to ‘sneak’ healthy stuff into them…heh, heh! You have a wonderful night too, Pam! Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  24. My pleasure, I get so behind on the blog hopping sometimes…but you always entertain. πŸ˜‰

  25. LOL Ali! Usually I’m OCD about it, too – but for some reason I totally spaced on it this weekend…I’m thinking because mentally I was resisting the time change… (grin!!) I was actually surprised that the ‘spinach is basil’ trick worked, because the Princess Nagger has figured out when there’s been spinach in other stuff…I’m thinking with the cheese and Alfredo sauce she didn’t get the spinach ‘taste’…that and she absolutely loves pizza… πŸ˜‰ Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ™‚
