  1. Hi there! Just wanted to say thank you for stopping by! When I actually have a spare minute from moving, I’ll come back by and really check you out. Your daughter is gorgeous!

    Justine 😮 )

  2. green toes!!! green feets!!! i love it!!!! she is such an adorable kid….good thing, huh? 😉

  3. Oh my. That’s the exact age Graham is at now… I think there’s something to being 2/2 that causes trouble. So cute and glad they were washable.

  4. Whaaaaaaaaaat? You are so laid back!! Five pictures worth of laid back! Were you not freaking out in the least little bit? LOL

  5. Awesome. My son is consistently thrilled to show me his new Tattoo every time he gets a hold of a marker or pen.

  6. Oh man, I’ve been there! Accept it was NOT washable markers. My little one had black covering her for about a week. Not to mention my hardwood…..

  7. Four words for those mommies who don’t have washable markers “Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser.”

    Michelle STILL writes on herself. Oh well, it’s just a phase. Too cute!!!! After the 1,000th mess I think you just say “oh well, it will wash off….. eventually…” instead of losing your head.

  8. These fabulous pictures give all new meaning to the importance of not only washable markers, but also being the Mom who just sits back and lets her daughter create.

    Well done, Stacy!

    -Wenda

  9. P.S. We’re expecing 10 inches of snow tonight so if the storm moves east you may very well get your blizzard altho’ March is still a few days away.

  10. The color of choice in this house is purple. Katelyn has used the purple marker EVERYWHERE. Cute pics!!

  11. Oh my goodness, that’s a lot of green. 🙂

    We had a similar incident here recently, unfortunately for me it was a Sharpie!

  12. Wow .. good thing it was washable! My 3.5 year old did this with a purple sharpie. Clean up was lots of fun!

  13. How cute! LoL Reminds me of the marker commercial I saw this morning, for a set of markers that only draws on a certain board or paper or whatever it is, it’s supposed to be safe to draw anywhere. So of course they show the kids coloring on a WHITE rug, a WHITE couch, WHITE sheets.

    What kinds of crazy parents buy WHITE with kids around? LOL

  14. Holy Cow! I was away from my computer today, and look at all the wonderful Comment Love I got! 🙂 OK, let’s get to the replies… 😉

    @The Blonde Duck: LOL! Definitely thankful for washable markers… 😉

    @Justine/Justiney/Tiney: Awww, thanks Justine! Hope your move goes smoothly! 🙂

    @annie kelleher: LOL Annie! Yes, it’s a good thing she’s so adorable…and green is my favorite color, so… 😉

    @Megryansmom: Amen to that! 🙂

    @Casey: You know, I was thinking about that when I was figuring out how old she was by the date stamp on the pictures – I thought of you immediately when it computed to the exact age Graham is right now…heh, heh!!

    @blueviolet: HAHAHAHA! Yes, I have been accused of being laid back…(snicker!) I think I would have freaked out more if the markers weren’t washable, and see how the floors are white? The previous owners of this house had painted the beautiful original wood floors – we planned to sand the paint off and bring them back to their original beauty, so I figured this would just motivate us to do it sooner if the marker didn’t come clean. It did come clean, so it was a while longer before we finally rented a sander to get rid of the godawful paint… 😉 I think I might have said something to indicate a little bit of freak out judging by her face in the 4th picture… (grin!)

    @pam: LOL Pam! Yes, they are… 😉

    @Ryan@Cool Dad Central: LOL! The Princess Nagger does that, too – isn’t it fun? 😉

    @Kristen Andrews: I did notice that…I was beginning to think they weren’t so washable after all… 🙂

    @Bree Shaw: LOL Bree! That, I’m sure, was my initial reaction… 😉

    @*Just Jen*: LOL Jen! I think I was more worried about the markers not coming out of her cute little Princess PJ’s – if it didn’t come off the floor, that would have motivated us to sand the floors down sooner to get rid of the annoying paint…(grin!!)

    @Jenn@mylifewiththecrazies: I guess I do have a laid back personality…well, except during PMS week…this was apparently not PMS week…(snicker!)

    @FoN: Oh NO! Now see, I definitely would have died or freaked out if they weren’t washable…oh your poor little one…and your hardwood! 🙂

    @Lady Bug: Yep, Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser does work for the non-washable stuff…like the ink pen drawings on the walls, the non-washable crayon drawings on the walls, etc… (grin!!) Princess Nagger now checks first to see if things are washable… 😉

    @Wenda: Awww, thanks, Wenda! 🙂

    @Lady Bug: Oh you poor thing! Though I don’t think you’re sending it our way anytime soon – we’re going to have 60 degree weather tomorrow. We had a major warm front move in AFTER our furnace was fixed… 😉

    @Colleen: I couldn’t agree with you more, Colleen! 🙂

    @Melissa: LOL Melissa! If the Princess Nagger were to choose a color today, it would also be purple – it’s her favorite color! 😉

    @ParentingPink: Amen to that! I’m sure I would have been freaked out if they weren’t… 😉

    @4 Lettre Words: Thanks so much! 🙂 The washable ‘stuff’ IS awesome, isn’t it? It’s made cleaning up so much easier… 😉

    @Sarah: That is a lot of green, isn’t it? LOL!! Oh NO – a Sharpie? Mr. Clean’s Magic Eraser – the one with the side that is blue – works great even for Sharpie’s…Princess Nagger got hold of a sharpie and ‘decorated’ a playhouse of hers…the ‘eraser’ removed almost all of the marks… 🙂

    @Stesha: LOL Stesha! So if I sent Princess Nagger over for a visit, she’d fit right in, right? 😉

    @Angela: Absolutely…never a dull moment around here! 😉

    @Jenni Jiggety: Amen to that, Jenni! LOL! 🙂

    @Faith – That’s Just Freaking Lovely” Even for washables, clean up sure takes some time, doesn’t it Faith? 🙂

    @Debbie: LOL Debbie! She does have artistic flair, doesn’t she? 😉

    @lisalyn: Thanks, lisalyn! Wenda was here! 😉

    @Ann: ROTFLMAO!! Thanks, Ann! I think you’re right…maybe I should have left it alone! 😉

    @nikkicrumpet: AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You’re right, Nikki, I’m such a bad mommy! (evil grin!!)

    @Julie@Cool Mom Guide: LOL Julie! You’re so sweet! 🙂

    @Lindsey: Oh yeah – after this ‘incident’, I did limit her to the ‘Color Wonder Markers’ that only work on Color Wonder paper or books – but while that works great for not making a mess, it limits creativity, so I did go back to the washable markers and crayons… 😉 I totally agree – who in their right mind would have ‘white’ everything with kids? 😉

    @The Mom Jen: LOL Jen! Luckily not as big of a nightmare had they been permanent markers… 😉

    @Sarah: LOL Sarah!

    @Noob Mommy: You’re so right…crazy insane good time! One of many…(grin!!!)

  15. Wow! Well you know what they say…we’re suppose to encourage artistic individuality! I’m not sure if they mean on floors, and your child or what. Very interesting! I bet it was a b—- to clean up even with washable!

  16. Look how innocent she looks.

    I’m stopping by from MBC to follow your blog. I’m looking forward to reading more.

  17. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and leaving such sweet comments! I hope to see you back there soon:-)

  18. oh my! just look at the last photo! so innocent..

    by the way.just some advisory:
    They just made an upgrade on Blogger Following, Google Friends Connect are now being integrated to it. I have been using both features. To prevent any public humiliation on the users, Google set the settings of Blogger following to private. If you have noticed that I am not following you, I already fixed the followers issue.

    I hope that it will not affect our blogging relationship.
    Have a nice day!

    Make or Break

  19. Oh Stacy that is so RICH!!! I havent laughed that hard in a while! Brings back so many memories. Green is such a good color on her! 😉

    Taylor once painted one of our entry hall walls while Carey and I were working in the yard. She was sitting in a high chair in front of a window so we could see her. We obviously couldnt see what she was doing. She was doing the wall as we had sat her right next to it so that she could be seen through the window. That was before we figured the kid thing out. LOL

    I hope you dont mind if I follow. Please feel free to follow Fort Thompson as well if you like.

    Love and Prayers,

    Tim

  20. HI, stopping by from the MBC follow me group. Love the pics–sometimes when I find these situations I have a hard time not laughing. I love kids and their sense of freedom. Hope it all washed off!

  21. @Stacy: LOL Stacy! Yes, we need to encourage artistic individuality…though I did have to draw the line (get it?!) when she started drawing on the walls…heh, heh! It did take some extra elbow grease to clean up after this event, but so worth the adorable little smile! 😉

    @Annie: Thanks, Annie! I love MBC – everyone is so nice! 🙂 I’m hoping Blogger lifts their limit of only being able to follow 200 blogs, but I’m adding all the new ones to my Google Reader or via email so I don’t miss anything… 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by and following! 🙂

    @Keely: That one’s my favorite, too! 😉

    @Susie: You’re very welcome, Susie, it was my pleasure! I’ll definitely be back – you have some wonderful things going on over there! 🙂

    @pehpot: Yes, that smile makes it all worth it… 🙂 Have no fear, Google’s antics will never interfere with our blogging relationship! 😉 I have to double check and make sure everyone I’m following hasn’t been affected by the changes… 🙂

    @Joy: LOL Joy! Yes, she was certainly enjoying herself! 😉

    @Tim: Oh you just made my day, Tim! I love it when I can share the laughter and it’s not just stuck in my head… 😉 That’s TOO FUNNY about Taylor painting your walls without you and your wife having a clue…they’re pretty quick and talented that way, aren’t they? 😉

    Of course I don’t mind if you follow – I love followers! 🙂 I tried to follow you last night, but Blogger was giving me issues, so I’m going to try again – I think it’s because I’m maxed out, but if you have a subscribe button, I’m definitely subscribing so I don’t miss new posts! 🙂

    @Deb: Thanks, Deb! Isn’t the MBC group GREAT? 🙂 I have the same trouble not laughing when presented with these types of situations…especially when there’s that whole innocence thing going on! 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂

  22. @Yaya: That was actually my very first reaction when I saw the mischief… 😉

  23. I missed this too 🙁 she is the most adorable kid ever 🙂 and I’m just happy I’m not the only one dealing with markers hahahahhah!

  24. sOMGOODNESS!s Hahahahhahahahaha Hilarious!
