I’m really trying hard to not think about the weather. You know, with that kind of playground philosophy that if you don’t think about it, it will continue to go the way you want it to be!
yeah that is us too…We got a couple inches…yesterday was in the single digits..and this weekend is supposed to get to about 40! I dont think we have seen 40 since Oct/Nov.
Our weather is crazy like that too sometimes. When I first moved here I saw a bumper sticker that said “Welcome to NY. If you don’t like the weather wait 15 minutes”. I had no idea what it was supposed to mean, but now I get it!
the weather has been weird this winter. It is supposed to get up into the high 60’s here in Colorado…maybe Mother Nature forgot that it is February and it is supposed to be snowing. I’m enjoying it now but this summer when we have drought conditions I’ll be wishing it had snowed more. Happy ATWT!

@Casey: 40 in FL? AND it got down to 28 last night? I had such a different impression of Florida… 😉 The last time I was there (about 8 years ago) it was February, 85 and humid as all get out…I had some bad hair days for the business trip I was on at that time…(grin!!) Yep, this year Mother Nature has really messed things up! 🙂
@On The Verge: We had a couple of those days last week – a ‘high’ in the mid to upper TEENS…today the high hit at about 20-ish, tomorrow it’s supposed to hit 37 for a high…then in a wild upward shift, hit the mid 50’s for the weekend. It’s no wonder people are getting sick left and right around here – going from hot to cold to warm to freezing back to warmish again. Mother Nature has lost her mind! 🙂

@Faith – That’s Just Freaking Lovely: LOL! I think all the ‘Northern’ states adopt that philosophy – when I lived in Michigan, they had that same saying… and here in PA, too. I think that’s one of the reasons people complain about the weather people – getting paid the big bucks to be wrong all the time… 😉
@Evolving Mommy Catherine: Oh, I agree…We haven’t had a ‘normal’ winter this year at all – I hate extremely hot/humid weather, and I have a feeling since we had such a mild winter this year that the summer months are going to be scorchers. And yes, there’s definitely the concern about a drought this year, too…Mother Nature really needs to get her act together FAST! 🙂 Happy ATWT, to you! 😉

@Aubrey: We’re waiting to see if we get all of our winter snow in March like we did one year, since we hardly got anything so far…if not, then that usually means we’re going to have an excruciatingly hot and humid summer…ugh!
