This week’s theme is ‘Feeding Time’…enjoy! πŸ˜‰

Wanted to drink milk like a ‘big girl’:Who knew teething cookies could be so messy:

A bottle of Mama’s Vanilla Coke was one of her favorite teething ‘toys’:
And of course have to include the 1st Birthday Cake mess:

Too tired to finish eating:I breastfed the Princess Nagger until she was about 2 weeks shy of 12 months – she decided she wanted to move up to baby food at that time, so I’d give her formula in a bottle as well as feed her baby food. Sometime close to 24 months she decided she kept wanting to eat the same food hubby and I ate – so we were able to transition her out of the baby food stage right around 2 years old. Now she’s become a picky eater…it’s a challenge to get her to eat veggies though her favorites are carrots and corn. πŸ˜‰

About Stacy (the Random Cool Chick)

After 20+ years in the Corporate World and years of infertility, Princess Nagger made her miraculous appearance and I chose to become a SAHM and WAHM - I love every minute of it. We added Little Dude through adoption, adding a whole new dimension to our family. We have an eclectic mix of pets: dogs, cats, birds and fish. I love to cook and try new techniques to turn ordinary into extraordinary. Crafty by nature, I take on a lot of unique projects and enjoy seeing the end result. My favorite, of course, is making my own wine out of fruits and grapes. Experiments with water currently underway. I blog about the joys of parenting, family, friends, life, love and anything else that strikes my fancy. I do enjoy doing reviews and giveaways for products I use, believe in and can stand behind.

  13. You’re lucky to have breastfed for that long. I wasn’t as lucky with breastfeeding.

My baby still eats anything I give her, but I’m also worried that when she gets a little older that she’ll also become a picky eating.

  14. @Gin E: Thanks, Gin! I do consider myself very lucky – one of my best friends had trouble breastfeeding – she got a horrible infection and had to stop after just 2 weeks. I think most kids go through the ‘picky’ stage – some more than others like my Princess Nagger – and a lot of that is influenced by people around her…if someone she knows doesn’t like something, she decides she doesn’t like it, either… πŸ™‚

  15. You’ve got an adorable little princess here. I love her feeding pictures. My boy is quite picky, too, with what he eats now, although when he likes something, he really eats a lot of that particular food. I hope you can visit my entry, too. Can we exchange links, by the way?
