Didja see? Wait…just look a little closer…can you see it now? I figured out how to manipulate change the code to make myself a 3-column blog! WooHoo! I still have some tweaking to do, but at least it’s a good sign about being able to follow through with the rest of my resolutions! πŸ˜‰ That’s one Resolution down…but wait, you say – where’s the ‘half’ resolution? Well, see how one of my resolutions are to ‘enjoy what 2009 has in store’? Well, OK, maybe it isn’t half of a resolution, but it’s gotten off to a good start! We went over to some friends house (the Little Princess’s ‘adopted’ Grammy and Papa) who plied us with Pork and Sauerkraut and Mud Slides. Apparently, in ‘Pennsylvania Dutch’ territory, it’s a tradition to serve Pork and Sauerkraut on the first day of January – something about eating Sauerkraut bringing you good luck for the rest of the year. The Mud Slides aren’t part of the tradition, but Grammy Joyce sure makes excellent ones, so who am I to turn ’em down? πŸ˜‰

To top it all off, Grammy Joyce has a tiger-striped cat. It’s a really cool Maine Coon cat that is about 8 months old and loves to play. This cat will actually play tag, hide-and-seek, and fetch! I am not kidding you. The next time we go over there, I’m taking my video camera to post a video of this amazing cat. You do know what that also means, don’t you? The discussion of the Little Princess wanting her own tiger-striped cat. At least she’s not suggesting we dye Norman’s hair to attain that status, now she’s just consistently nagging reminding us that she wants a tiger-striped cat. She had a blast playing with Grammy Joyce’s cat, even played hide-and-seek and hid in the cat carrier. Grammy Joyce has a big cat carrier – I still couldn’t believe Savannah fit in it, but she was in there…with the tiger striped cat looking at her like she was nuts. And me, without my camera! It was a great visit, awesome food, and a wonderful start to the New Year!

And just a little reminder… don’t forget – only 2 more days to the WiiFit Mommies Twitter Party!

I’m determined to follow through on all my resolutions this year, so joining up with WiiFit Mommies is going to help accomplish #1! πŸ˜‰ If you haven’t checked out what WiiFit Mommies is all about, please do – you might decide to join us, it’s going to be fun! πŸ˜‰
