Time has flown by very fast – we will be picking up our new puppy in 6 days!! We got some new pictures from the breeder yesterday, so I thought I’d share them with you:

Our puppy is the one in the middle-right:
The breeder tells us ‘he has the best personality’ – and loves to cuddle! πŸ™‚ Next Saturday we finally get to go pick him up…we’re all very excited to add him to our family. Here’s hoping his potty training will go easier than it was to potty train the Princess Nagger! >;o)~

Princess Nagger is in true nagging form:

Princess Nagger: “I told Dada he needs to bring the dog cage up from the basement and clean it really good, soon.

Me: “Oh, that’s definitely a good idea – we need to have that to potty train him, and so he’ll have a ‘safe’ place since it might be a little scary for him to be ‘inspected’ by Elvis and Norman right off the bat. Once he’s potty trained, he’ll get to have full run of the house like Elvis and Norman do.”

Princess Nagger: “Yeah, and once he’s potty trained, he can sleep with me, right?”

Me: “Absolutely – he’ll probably love to cuddle with you and keep you company at night…once he’s potty trained!”

Princess Nagger: “I told Dada he needs to do it before Saturday, that he better not wait until Saturday to do it, because then we’ll be late, and they might be closed by the time we get there so we won’t be able to get the new puppy.”

Me: “Oh, that’s a very good point…we don’t want to be late picking up the new puppy!”

Princess Nagger: “I’m going to have to keep reminding Dada to get the dog cage and clean it. That way maybe he won’t forget!

Me (laughing): “I’m sure he’ll appreciate you reminding him…”

Princess Nagger: “I’m going to remind him lots of times!”

Just another reason we lovingly refer to her as the “Nagger”…but hey, she’s very effective, so we’ll see if Dada succumbs to the nagging and gets the dog cage all ready to go before Saturday! πŸ˜‰

  3. Thanks, Stacy!s I have no doubt that the new addition is going to be funny blog fodder… πŸ˜‰ s I might have to borrow a page from Nikki Crumpet and make a story board of my doggies – especially since the one I have already looks exactly like one of hers since they’re the same breed…s She sure comes up with some hilarious stuff with her two doggies! πŸ˜‰ s Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ˜€

  4. LOL!! In my house the ‘nagger’ is my 7yr old ‘Prince’.
    Which…being a Virgo, I can totally appreciate!!

  5. They’re so adorable. I’m not envying you the puppy stage though. It’s work, with all the chewing and training. It’s like a furry toddler with really sharp teeth. πŸ˜‰ Your daughter is too funny, they have a one track mind, don’t they?

  6. Oh he is so sweet, I love his ears!!s I am sure he will be a wonderful addition to your family.

  7. You are so lucky. Congrats on your beautiful puppy. I am insanely jealous. Hope you’ll give us some posts on how the first few weeks go. I’m on the fence (just barely) about getting a puppy this summer and I’d love to hear how the puppy + baby go.

  8. LOL!s Thanks, Lisa, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one with a Nagger in the house of the juvenile age…heh, heh!s Gets me off the hook from being a Nagging Wife, I sit back and watch the Nagging Princess do the work for me without being prompted to do so… πŸ˜‰
    s
The new puppy does look awfully cute – it’s going to be fun to have an energetic puppy to play with…well, mostly! (snicker!)s Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  9. Isn’t he, though? πŸ™‚ s And I bet he’s even cuter in person… πŸ˜‰ s Thanks for stopping by, Diana!

  10. LOL!!s I love that description ‘furry toddler with really sharp teeth’…I’m gonna use that one! πŸ˜€ s It will be work…but at least this particular breed is fairly ‘smart’, so hopefully he’ll be smart and not a ‘smart alec’…heh, heh!
    s
Yes, she does have a one-track mind!s LOL!!!s Thanks so much for stopping by, Mrs. Bear! πŸ˜€

  11. His ears are one of his many charms…heh, heh!s We are really looking forward to him being an addition to our family…I’m sure our other dog, Elvis, will be really happy to have a fellow dog to hang around with…(grin!)s Thanks so much for stopping by, Pam! πŸ˜€

  12. They are cuties, aren’t they?s I forgot to mention that the other puppies in the picture with him are his sisters…there were 4 puppies in that litter, and he’s the only boy.s πŸ™‚ s Just from the pictures I think he’s going to steal everyone’s heart! πŸ˜‰ s Thanks so much for stopping by, Anne! πŸ˜€

  20. ARRRGH…I’m having the hardest time leaving a comment.s I keep getting a google error.s Must be my stupid computer.s Anyway…when you are as adorable as her…you can get away with nagging all day!s she is just so dang cute.s And the new puppy is adorable!s How much fun to be adding one to the household.s And what a lucky dog he is going to be.s

  21. Thanks, Mrs. Bear – I just might need that sympathy sometime next week! LOL!! πŸ˜€ s Thank you so much for putting my button on your sidebar…I’m honored! πŸ™‚

  22. There’s just something so adorable about puppies, isn’t there?s πŸ™‚ s Thanks so much for dropping by, Kristen! πŸ˜€

  23. LOL!s Poor Nikki!s No offense, but I hope it was your computer causing the trouble and not this comment widget that has caused me some major headaches earlier this week… πŸ˜‰
    s
You’re right – when you are as adorable as the Little Nagger, you can get away with the nagging! LOL!!s Thank you for the compliment – she’ll appreciate hearing it, she loves hearing what my readers say about her… πŸ˜€
    s
The new puppy sure is adorable, isn’t he?s I’m so looking forward to bringing him home!s Elvis seems excited about the prospect every time I mention it to him…heh, heh!s πŸ™‚
    s
Thank you so much for your kind words – and for stopping by! πŸ˜€

  24. LOL!!!s Glad you clarified so I could address you by your name in your original comment – πŸ˜‰ s Dorks are always welcome…we call Elvis a Dork, our Little Princess is a dork, and both hubby and I refer to ourselves as Dorks, too, so you’re not alone! πŸ˜‰ s And I’m sure the new puppy will also be a dork…a cute one! πŸ˜‰

  25. Oh my goodness. Australian Shepherd (miniature) is the type of dog I want. I love Blue Merle’s the very best! There’s a breeder near here and sometimes I make my husband take me there just so I can pet them and smell their puppy breath! It’s torturous because I want to take one home with me, but we’re waiting until we get our rennovation done. Aaaah it can’t happen soon enough! Love the pix. Congrats on your adorable puppy!!!

  26. Hi Stacy!
    s
Oh, your new puppy is too cute!ss Katie has been bugging me for her own dog–I’m so tempted, but we have two older pets that might not do so well with a newbie…s I’m happy for your princess pea–she is going to love that puppy soooo much πŸ™‚

  27. Those pups are adorable! sWhy can’t they stay small? sWHY??
    s
    Tell that nagger she rocks.s

  28. I Tara!s It probably is wise to wait until your renovations are done… πŸ˜‰ s Puppies sure are great – so soft and cuddly…and I laughed about the ‘puppy breath’! πŸ™‚ s That’s great that you get your ‘puppy fix’ at the local breeders…then when your renovations are done, you’ll be able to leave with one of your very own! πŸ˜‰ s Thanks so much for stopping by!

  29. LOL!s Kids can sure be pushy little people, can’t they?s What’s funny is it was hubby that has been wanting to get a new Sheltie for quite a number of years…then he was going to ‘surprise’ me with a puppy for my birthday, but there were no litters arriving in December…heh, heh!s So he spilled the beans to let me know what his original ‘plans’ were, and we decided it would be OK to get a new puppy.s Our Wheaten is 3 years old and loves everyone – people and other animals – so we figured now is the time! πŸ˜‰ s
    s
But our Persian will probably go in hiding for a while…heh, heh!s I think that if our Wheaten was older than he is, we’d have second thoughts about bringing a new puppy into the mix…when pets are ‘older’ they can be set in their ways, and it can be a lot more work getting a puppy and trying to make everyone happy! πŸ˜‰
    s
Yes, my little Princess Pea is going to be so happy with the new puppy – she’s big on things that are ‘her size’, and since the Wheaten is more mine and hubby’s size, she’s going to have fun with a smaller dog to play with…(grin!)
    s
Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ˜€

  30. LOL!s I agree…why can’t puppies and kittens STAY cute and adorable? πŸ˜‰
    s
I will pass along to the nagger that she rocks…she’ll be quite pleased with herself! πŸ˜€ s Thanks so much for stopping by! πŸ˜€

  31. my son would be so jealous. He totally wants a dog. It looks like you are going to get a very cute on.

  32. Awwww.s The puppy is so darling.s I know Princess Nagger can’t wait.s More fun stories to come when the puppy gets there, I’m sure!
    s
    Davida

  33. They are ‘heart melters’, aren’t they? πŸ™‚ s Thanks for stopping by, Mimi! πŸ˜€

  34. Thanks, Jen!s I think we’re getting a very cute one, too! πŸ˜‰ s Thanks so much for stopping by!
