  1. OMG–too cute for words! I’m a sucker for puppies πŸ™‚ My daughter has been bugging me for a puppy for a time now–we have an 18 year old cat and 15 year old dog already. I’m seriously considering it…

  2. OMG, the puppy is just so cute. I’m jealous. Having puppy’s is so much fun. I have two full grown Golden Retrievers. Wish they’d stay puppies a little longer. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I was nervous about getting a puppy – you know, that ‘puppy stage’, but figured now was as good as time as any! πŸ˜‰ My daughter keeps saying she can’t wait until January (as in, there is no possible way she can wait and wants the puppy NOW…heh, heh!) she’s all excited that we’ll be making a ‘road trip’ to go pick him up since the breeder is 2-1/2 hours from us. But it will be worth the trip! πŸ˜‰

  4. He does look adorable, doesn’t he? πŸ˜‰ I was so happy the breeder sent new pics so we can see how he’s doing! πŸ˜€ Happy WW to you, too!

  5. Thank you! The new puppy is a Blue Merle Sheltie…they look like smallish collies, and he’ll have bluish-black markings with white and some reddish-tan markings, too…they are really smart and really fun dogs! πŸ˜€

  6. LOL! How old is your youngest? Picking a breed that does great with children (young or old) is the best thing to do – we’ve been very blessed! πŸ™‚ Can’t wait to get the new puppy – my daughter is just as excited as we are! πŸ˜€

  7. Puppies are a lot of fun! I’m looking forward to getting him! Oooh, I love golden retrievers, too – some friends of ours have one, and he is the coolest dog – and loves playing with our dog! It’s going to be fun to see the puppy interact with everyone! πŸ˜‰

  8. They really are so much fun – I am really excited and looking forward to bringing him home. He’ll be 8 weeks old on January 24th, so it’s something to look forward to after Christmas! πŸ™‚

  9. LOL! That’s funny! I had to resist the urge to put a title something like ‘Elvis is alive and well in Pennsylvania!’ 😎

  10. You’re right! Who doesn’t love puppies? O:-) We found out from the breeder that we will be allowed to pick him up a week earlier than we thought – January 17th! I’m so looking forward to introducing him to Elvis and our Persian, Norman! πŸ˜‰

  11. Oh, I’m sure he will most definitely be a handful! LOL! But they’re also a very smart breed, so as long as I don’t get wrapped up in his cuteness and let him get away with stuff, he’ll be just fine! πŸ˜‰

  12. He is adorable – he’s my buddy! I have no doubt he’ll take to the new puppy with no problem…he loves it when the neighbor dogs come over to our yard to play with him. 10 years ago I had a different Wheaten and got a Blue Merle Sheltie…they were best friends! I got my first Wheaten about 16 years ago – he was the best dog I’d ever had, and anyone who met him were amazed at how good he was and very, very smart! πŸ˜€ When he passed away, I had to get another one! πŸ˜‰
